Good Bye

GOOD BYE Blogspot, GOOD BYE Flickr! Andy encouraged me to approach this blogging thing a bit more professional, more nerdish :)

So I installed serendipity and gallery 2 on a webserver and registered nothingtwoc.com.

Now my blog can even do XML-RPC and the other bloggers will now know it, everytime I talk shit about them :)

Furthermore I decided that I'll write in german from now on. I'm not sure if I had even one single non-german reader, I'm not sure if I have any readers at all? Well, if you'd like me to write english in the future, leave a comment... IN THE NEW BLOG.

seen this morning at the entrance of a bakery. I'm not sure how to translate this sign properly, but the meaning is similar to "dogs stay out or become food".

as promised, here I post some of the pictures of Maria, which I modified with GIMPshop .

Fortunately within the diginights.com-forum a small group photography enthusiats has formed.

I'm quite happy about it, so I can learn a lot more, as I'm a still total newbie...

I also found a quite good solution to handle the pictures. Click on them to enlarge.

Same as above, but copied the layer, pasted it and made the both layers dodge.


Just remove the warmer colour, so you can better image how could she felt :)

in the original picutre, the background was blury already, I increased this affect in this one through motion blur


My personal favourite. Like the effect and of black and white and the remaining red. Selected the red areas by hand and desaturated the rest...

No clue what to do on this boring sunday, so I hooked up with Maria who was in town to pick up Pati from the railway station.

She didn't like me "abusing" her as my photographing exercise model, but I think she really has what it takes. Maybe we need some more convincing comments!!!!!!

PS: I know these pictures are way too big for the layout of this blog, but at this time I have no better solution so "design follows function" is the motto!

last thursday we had some nice white frost here in the south of germany. So I snapped my newest toy and tried some white frost macros, here's the best shot out of 80 pictures...still practicing...

Piercing is not only for humans! Why can't a computer harddisc get one?

When harddiscs are either too old or are defetive and out of the period of guarantee, we make sure the data on these harddrives is unreadable. Maybe the FBI, NSA or some few secret agencies might be able to reconstruct this data, but I hope they're not interested in us. :-)

Winter barbecue

Our barbecue season begins in January and usally ends in December :) Here we kick off the new season. You gotta eat fast, otherwise you eat cold steaks and Coke even needs to be warmed. Ute and Rainer organized this barbecue in their backyard! Unfortunately only a few people of the diginights-posse showed up :-(

Though we had our fun! Thanks Ute and Rainer for having us!
